2 adet olgun mango
6 tepeleme çorba kaşığı süzme yoğurt
1 tatlı kaşığı limon suyu
3 damla vanilya özütü
2 çorba kaşığı bal
Yapılışı:
Mangoları soyup doğrayın, limon suyu ile birlikte blenderda püre haline getirin. Yoğurt, vanilya ve balı mikserle çırpın. İki çorba kaşığı mango püresini tatlı yoğurda hafifçe karıştırın. İki karışımı katmanlar halinde dondurma kalıplarına doldurun. En az 3-4 saat buzlukta dondurun. Afiyet olsun.
I have such a giant weariness on me these days, all I want is sleep. Of course, it's not possible. But around four or five in the afternoon, I pick up a book and doze off for a sweet fifteen or twenty minutes while reading. After waking up I watch the curtains slowly sway in the wind and think about how these naps are what I love most about life. Yes, I am getting old.
Last time I needed afternoon naps, I was still in college and was working in one of the most tiresome jobs in the world during my summer break.
This feeling of weariness will pass, I know, but when it comes, it comes at full throttle. I just want silence. And a book. And some ice cream.
This ice cream is very good for this syndrome. And one of Bade's favourites. It is so practical I keep thinking why I did not make these before.
Ingredients: (Makes 9 popsicles)
2 ripe mangoes
6 heaping tblspn strained yogurt
1 tspn lemon juice
3 drops of vanilla extract
2 tblspns honey
Instructions:
Peel and slice mangoes, blend into a puree wit lemon juice. Mix yogurt, vanilla and honey. Add two tblspns of mango puree inside and stir lightly. Pour the two mixtures as layers inside ice cream molds. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours. Enjoy.
